Football Rogue does not ask who you are. There is no sign-up, email field or advertising. Your career stays in your browser. Optional Google Analytics runs only if you allow it.
At a glance
The plain-English version. There is no account system hiding behind it.
The active player, season progress, cross-run challenges and Legacy cards are written to your browser's local storage under the keys career-xi-active-v1, career-xi-legacy-v1 and career-xi-challenges-v1. They stay on your device and are never uploaded.
You can play without entering a name, email address or profile. The names, clubs and countries you see are part of the fictional game world, not a user profile.
Google Analytics helps measure page visits and general usage only after you choose Allow analytics. Advertising signals are disabled. Football Rogue does not send your career save, player choices or backup files to Google. Choose No thanks and analytics storage remains disabled.
Clear site data, use private browsing or switch browser or device and the local copy goes. You can download a JSON backup from View legacy first. The file is created and restored on your device; it is not uploaded to Football Rogue. Keep it private because it contains your complete local game state.
The pages and game files themselves have to be served from somewhere. This site is hosted on Vercel, and like every web host it processes standard technical request data — your IP address, the page requested, timestamp, browser user agent and referrer — in order to deliver the page and to protect the service from abuse. That happens at the infrastructure level for any website you visit, and the operator of this site does not use it to build a profile of you.
Vercel's handling of that request data is governed by its own privacy policy. No game data, save data or career information is included in it.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics receives usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device/browser details and referral information. Google may place analytics cookies or use similar browser storage. IP anonymisation and restricted advertising features are enabled. See Google's privacy policy for its handling of this data.
Football Rogue has no user database or account profile to request a copy from. Clearing this site's data removes the local career save, challenges, analytics choice and any Google Analytics storage associated with this site. You can then revisit and decline analytics.
The game is not directed at children under 13. Analytics remains disabled unless the visitor actively allows it.
If a future version adds accounts, cloud saves, advertising or materially changes analytics, this page will be updated to say so plainly and the "last updated" date above will change.
