Remember the choice
A wall session, a school shirt, a risky trial or a contract clause should still be recognisable in the player you become. Traits you draft along the way are permanent — the career you finish is a record of what you picked.
About Football Rogue
Football Rogue started with a simple question: what if a football career game cared about the hours nobody films? The wall passes, the school shirt, the late bus, the contract you read twice before signing. It is a free browser game about one player — not a transfer budget, not a spreadsheet, not a squad of eleven names.
What we are building
Quick to start, easy to read and full of the small details that make a career feel like yours.
A wall session, a school shirt, a risky trial or a contract clause should still be recognisable in the player you become. Traits you draft along the way are permanent — the career you finish is a record of what you picked.
The numbers help, but they should never feel like a spreadsheet exercise. Sometimes the right move is simply the one that lets you play every week.
Lose your place, miss the trial or get stuck behind a better striker. Those are not game-over screens; they are the bits people remember. A serious injury opens a recovery draft, and the scar it leaves can complete a build.
A whole career takes roughly fifteen minutes. The point is not to perfect one run — it is that a different kind of player is immediately tempting when the last one retires.
The design
The important verb is choose. Every run is built out of decisions that close other doors.
The world
Football Rogue uses fictional players, clubs, leagues and competitions. Every crest is generated from the club's own name, so the world is consistent without borrowing anyone's trade dress. That gives the game room for its own rivalries and keeps the focus on the player you are building, not on a licensed database.
Nothing here is affiliated with, endorsed by or derived from any real club, league, governing body or player.
Your save
The save lives in this browser's local storage. There is no account wall, no email field waiting behind the first screen and no server holding your career. Clearing your browsing data clears the game too — that is the trade for never asking you to sign up.
More detail is in the privacy notice, and the rules of use are in the terms.
